Hurt Locker / Sitting in Silence
Go inward my meditation guide said. Go inward. It seems lately that going inward is what I have been doing a lot lately.… Continue
In every chapter of growth—whether personal or professional—there’s one common thread that either lifts us up or holds us back: relationships. As a coach, I’ve learned that success isn’t just built on strategy or hustle; it’s built on the people around us. The ones who challenge us, support us, and cheer the loudest when we win. If you’ve ever wondered why your progress feels stalled—or why momentum shows up like magic—this might just be the missing piece. Let’s talk about the people in your life, and more importantly, how to find the ones who genuinely want to see you win.

If you’ve ever wondered why your progress feels stalled—or why momentum shows up like magic—this might just be the missing piece. Let’s talk about the people in your life, and more importantly, how to find the ones who genuinely want to see you win.
If you know your purpose, you’ll know the people who want to see you win.
I talk to a lot of people all the time. I am a coach. I began coaching real estate about 5 years ago, and how funny that sometimes we don’t choose how our paths will unfold. More and more, as I found myself having deeper conversations about our businesses, it didn’t come down to just financials and business planning but truly came down to how relationships impact our lives in order for us to be the most successful. How all our relationships impact our business lives. That was the deeper meaning in all of this.
Every relationship we have impacts our ability to perform at our best. “We are the product of the 5 people we spend the most time with.” I say it all the time, but I now see that this holds true even more. And it’s not the “top 5”—it’s everyone.
Our partners, our children, our bosses, our clients, our friends, our co-workers—all impact our daily lives and how our days unfold.
How we manage our relationships matters. Our responses to others can immediately change the course of our days. There are nagging unresolved tensions that can send us into a spiral so quickly that the rest of the day becomes a colossal undertaking and we can’t focus on what we actually set out to do. We become reactionary. Immediately.
“Your response can shift the entire course of your day.”
I came to you, dear reader, to talk about relationships. And their impact on our own dreams and successes. I came to talk about boundaries and living our dreams without getting derailed. I came to talk about how to support and love the people around us without compromising our own needs.
How better to do this than to have a rock-solid understanding of what our dreams are and how we are going to get there. How to have a healthy dose of confidence in ourselves, that is steadfast, and still be there for others. Knowing that we cannot compromise our own lives at the expense of everyone else.
What I do know, is that there are people who don’t want us to succeed. I also know that there are others who want us winning. The people who don’t want us to succeed feel that the successes we win somehow take away from them. Your success makes them feel “less than.” I’ve never understood this.
There are others who will be cheering us on, and encouraging us to move forward with everything we do. They will join us on our journey and a lot of times buy into what we are doing and maybe even partner with you to get to the finish line together. I love these people. They come from a different place, because your success only enlightens them and inspires them to reach new heights. So, in essence, your triumphs becomes theirs because they will believe in themselves more because YOU believed in yourself.
So firstly, how do we identify these people—and how do we know if they truly want us to win and that the relationship we have is mutually supportive? We first have to look at our own lives and what it is we want.
I’ll bring you to your life plan. And the first step is the first 90 days.
